The Investors' Committee

The Investors' Committee is comprised of representatives from a broad array of investors and investor advocates, potentially including representatives from labor organizations, endowments, foundations, corporate and public pension funds, investment consultants, and other U.S. and non-U.S. investors. Its purpose is to facilitate an exchange of information between the investor community and the agencies comprising the President's Working Group on Financial Markets.

The first task of the Committee was to develop detailed guidelines that would define "best practices" for investors in private pools of capital. The Final Report of the Committee, "Principles and Best Practices for Hedge Fund Investors", is available by clicking here.
